About Angels share

The share of angels is a metaphor used in the storage of spirits, here refers to the evaporation that inevitably happens over the years. Many years of storage and high evaporation result in exclusive bottling and rare bottles.

Anglesshare originates from a physical store, Vin & Vin, Aalborg. We have for several years purchased unique bottles, which we can now offer through our webshop - Angelsshare.

Since these are rare and unique bottles, in some cases there will only be a single copy.

The story:

Martin Andersen opened the wine shop Holte Vinlager Aalborg in Danmarksgade in 2001. The range consisted of wine, spirits and delicacies. He operated the store in the basement until 2006, when the store needed several square meters. The new location "Frederikstorv 3" raised sales of both wine and spirits as the opportunity for a larger store was met, demand was growing and sales increasing.

In 2010, Martin switched to the newly started chain Vin & Vin. With a wider range and focus on quality, the bar was raised further. Despite the name Vin & Vin, the sale of spirits was increasing to a degree that made the shelves once again pressed to the breaking point. Several unique and rare bottles made their way into the shelves that were invested and bought up, among closed distilleries and in old vintages.

October 2015, the store moved into the old Spar Nord Bank at Vestre Allé 2 in Aalborg. Here there was the opportunity for larger tastings, more wines and a better selection, as well as their own parking spaces. The old safe has become the treasure trove for the most exclusive and rare bottles collected over time. Now you have the opportunity to invest in one or more of these beautiful bottles via Angelsshare.
