The oldest rum in the distiller's own brand is only 15 years old, so this must be said to be an extraordinary old rum. This single cask bottling is distilled on Trinidad by Trinidad Distillers Ltd. The distillery produces lots of rum, but is probably best known for their worldwide bitter.
All their rum is molasses based and is produced to a very, very large extent. The huge quantities of rum are produced on a huge column distiller which holds a total of 7 columns. These columns produce both rum for their own space series but also a lot of bulk chrome, which is sold on to other rum brands.
