Chieftains - The Cigar Malt (SOLD OUT)

Incredibly intense and dominant aroma of leather and tobacco in combination with dark dates, plums, safe cherries and nuts.

Leather and old dried tobacco leaves rest heavily on the palate, a cozy warmth floods your mouth, while sour cherries, dates, prunes and chocolate settle on your tongue.

Single malt Scotch whiskey from an unveiled distillery in the Speyside region, independently bottled by Ian Macleod for Chieftain's. This term was distilled in April 1997 and left to age for 20 years in a single Oloroso sherry ass until May 2017. It's named The Cigar Malt, so if you enjoy a cigarette and whiskey pairing, this should be perfect for you . 634 bottles were produced.

Taste: Leather and old dried tobacco leaves rest heavily on the palate, a cozy warmth floods your mouth, while sour cherries, dates, prunes and chocolate settle on your tongue. The aftertaste also reminds me a bit of walnuts, again there are hints of menthol and eucalyptus. Spicy oak and slightly smoked items emerge.
